trail ride is a great way to
experience the Cowboy Way of Life before the gathering. Traditionally,
the wagon train and trail ride visit these locations.
This is an
authentic cowboy event - dress code will be enforced!

- Wagon train leaves Jacksboro and
travels to Perrin
- (The city of Jacksboro is having
an "everyone invited" send off party the night before the wagon train
leaves)
- Wagon train overnights at a
private ranch in Perrin
Monday, October 20
- Wagon train leaves Perrin and
travels to Mineral Wells
- Overnights at the Sheriff's Posse
arena
Tuesday, October 21
- Wagon train leaves Mineral Wells
and travels to Weatherford
- Overnights at First Monday Grounds
in Weatherford
Wednesday, October 22
- Wagon train leaves Weatherford and
travels to Azle
- Overnights at private stables in
Azle
Thursday, October 23
- Wagon Train leaves Azle and
arrives in the Stockyards
This
is a free event, open to the
public anywhere along the trail. Participants are required to
bring their own provisions.
